We wanted you to know that a couple of Christmas' ago we bought a couple
of the matted prints for Mark's dad. They were of the ship he had sailed
on to Canada from Ukraine. Mark's dad passed away at 96 years of age and
there will be a display of some of the memorabilia from his life. We will
include the ship pictures in that display.

I received the print today of the "Yorck" 1039a and I just wanted to tell
you how happy I am. First of all, I did not expect for it to arrive so
quickly. It came in perfect timing because my 14 year old daughter has
been working hard on a family tree project involving her immigrant great-grandparents

Received the prints! Wanted you to know that the prints you sent (Cretic)
were in today's mail!!! I am so very happy to have them!!!! So appreciate
the information you enclosed, giving the history of the ship. And how
kind and generous of you to enclose the extra prints, at no charge. (
I deliberated among the three choices when I placed the order, never guessing
I would have all three!)
Plan to frame the matted print for the wall in my den. The other matted
print I am sending to my twin brother, in Denver. He will be so surprised,
as it is only recently that I discovered the name of our father's ship.
( Something my brother is still unaware of.)
It is good that you wrap the prints in cellophane, and as carefully as
you do, Pamela. When we took the mailing envelope out of the mailbox,
it was crinkled on one end and you could see that it had been wet...and
yet the prints arrived unscathed. Thank you, too, for the print of Ellis
Island. (Another bonus!)
I will keep your e-mail address, should I know of anyone else seeking
